Breaking in...
Those two simple words conjure up all sorts
of images of a task that is either illegal, or at best, extremely
risky---dangerous. Perhaps the words, breaking in, are applied to many types
of exciting and profitable businesses because the public perception has been
that these businesses or ventures are indeed, risky and dangerous. However, a
wise man once said, "Risk is an enemy to the uninformed, but a friend to the
enlightened." Simply put, the tools to manage risk are education and
information. Investment/Commercial Real Estate is neither rocket science, nor
fine art. It is business, plain and simple, and in business, the informed and
enlightened rise to the top of the heap, close the deals, and find that along
the way ... their portfolio blossoms.
There is no magical mystique, and the potential opportunity is limitless for
anyone who is sharp of mind and eager to see solid returns on their investments.
Commercial Real Estate is a real and viable investment option for anyone, be
they a skittish first timer or a seasoned real estate pro. It's about asking
questions and finding solutions. Every potential deal is a question, and the
smart investor assesses the situation, sources the information that is pertinent
to that particular question, applies it, and closes!
The business of Commercial Real Estate is exciting and it's open to everyone. It
is not necessary to be a billionaire mogul; it simply requires that one be
educated and ready to move when the time is right. There are issues to consider,
of course: how to finance, how to diversify, how to find investors for joint
deals, maximizing potential, finding investment grade properties, etc...
However, the only true obstacle to success in the Commercial Real Estate game
is, as we at TBS Sales like to refer to it, the "snooze factor." The bottom line
is, Commercial Real Estate deals are being cut every single day, 365 days a
year. The informed and enlightened investors are closing these deals and
securing their futures. Isn't it time to be an informed and enlightened closer?
The road is open, but where will you take it? It’s up to you.
